Shipping

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Canada

Standard: 3-5 business days

US

Standard: 4-7 business days

International

Standard: 5-10 business days 

Please be mindful that you may experience unusually long shipping delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and standard shipping times may not apply. The standard shipping times do not include weekends, holidays and any unforeseen delays that may arise with the courier service.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to most countries internationally!

*Exceptions may apply for countries with specific trade regulations or usual delays.

COVID update: Please note some countries have suspended their courier services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to placing your order, please confirm with your local courier service that international packages will be accepted and cleared by your Customs Department. Unfortunately, if an order has shipped to a country with suspended service, the order will be returned back to us.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free standard shipping on orders to the US and Canada.

For all other countries, shipping costs will appear and be applied to your order at checkout.

We always recommend placing your order (especially for gifts) in advance to ensure you receive your package soon enough!

Is your packaging sustainable?

Yes. We choose a sustainable approach for our packaging by using only recyclable materials and by limiting their quantity. All our jewelry is sent in a cotton fabric pouch meant to be reused to store your new piece or existing ones.

What courrier do you use?

We currently use Canada Post for all jewelry shipments.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes. Express shipping is an option you can select for a fee during checkout. The usual shipping time with the Express option is 2 to 3 business days in the US and Canada.

Please contact us if looking for a rushed shipping to another country.

Will I be charged duty or import fees?

Please note items shipped outside of the United States or Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or charges, which are not included in the total cost of your order or included in the cost of shipping. These fees are not covered or reimbursed by Piper & Pearl Jewelry.

Any additional charges for customs clearance is the responsibility of the recipient specified on the delivery address. If a customer refuses the import duties, taxes and/or charges on their package, Piper & Pearl Jewelry is not liable for the package and it will be disposed of by the courier service. Please note refunds will not be provided for any refused shipment.

Jewelry Care

How do I care for my jewelry?

We recommend gentle care of your jewelry pieces. Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and first thing you take off when getting dressed.

Take off your jewelry while working out, showering and swimming in the pool or sea.

Keep away from perfume, lotions and cosmetics to avoid any discoloration. Use a soft cloth to clean and shine your piece.

Store your jewelry in a cool and dry place without other metals. We recommend keeping your loved items in a jewelry box or our soft pouch.

How to clean my jewelry?

Use a soft non-abrasive cloth to shine your cherished jewelry pieces.

This will help to prevent discolouring and keep your jewellery looking shiny and beautiful for a long time.

Please note that all metals naturally oxidize with time and require maintenance. Additionally, factors such as the acidity of your skin or the way the jewelry has been taken care of may result in a faster or slower tarnishing process.

Who's behind Piper & Pearl ?

As the founder of Piper & Pearl Jewelry, Christina is behind every single facet of the brand, from hand-picking pearls to launching new collections.

After several years of experience in the fashion industry, she started her jewelry brand to offer feminine and elegant creations to women and to bring back the beauty of pearls to jewelry making.

Where is your atelier located?

We are designing and preparing our collections by hand in our atelier in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

What material do you use?

All our jewelry is created with high quality sourced materials. Our pieces are made from a variety of gold plated and vermeil including: 10k, 14k, 18k and 24k gold. We also use 925 sterling silver for some of our collections. 

All our jewelry is handmade so keep in mind that every crafted piece has a slight variation in its appearance. Typically our pearls can marginally vary in size and shape, making each one unique, like you!

What is gold vermeil?

Gold vermeil jewelry are made of high-quailty sterling silver (925) gildled with a thick layer of pure gold.

To meet the vermeil standard, the silver piece must to gilded with at least 2.5 microns of gold thickness, which is the case for all our vermeil creations at Piper & Pearl Jewelry.

Gold vermeil is hypoallergenic and durable. With proper care, the gold finish lasts several years.

Return Policy

What is your return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our priority at Piper & Pearl Jewelry. We want every buyer to be happy with our unique creations.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer a refund if the return is requested within 30 days after the purchasing date. 

Returned products must have no signs of wear and original product packaging must be intact. Please refer to our official return policy for more details.

For returns, please use our Contact page to communicate with us. Please provide your order number and the product(s) you would like to return. 

If you receive a product from us that is damaged or defective, please let us know and include a photo for reference. Our customer service team will be happy to provide you with return instructions.

How does the return process works?

If returning an item, please contact us through our Contact page and provide a reason for the return.

You will be provided with a shipping address and asked to send back the item and take care of the shipping fees

Once the item will be received by Piper & Pearl Jewelry, we will confirm its condition and if in new condition, the return will be approved.

If approved, you will receive a refund for the amount of the item only and not the shipping cost of the return

Are the returns free?

Please note that all return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility. We do not provide return shipping labels. Your original shipping fee is not refundable. 

Orders outside of the US or Canada may have duties and taxes incurred. You are responsible for paying these fees and we’re unable to waive or refund them, even if the order is returned back to us.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we have received your returned package, inspected and processed the item your refund will be processed within 24 hours. All refunds will be applied to the original payment, excluding original shipping fees.

What is considered an item in a new condition?

The item should not be having any visible mark of wear, be damaged, chipped, bent or broken in any way. The condition of the item should be the same as the condition of a new item sent by Piper & Pearl Jewelry.

The assessment of the item condition is at the discretion of Piper & Pearl Jewelry.

What payments do you accept?

We accept payment from Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, American Express.

We also accept Interact, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.
